Key Responsibilities Ensuring a safe work environment by identifying hazards, enhancing safety, and fulfilling all reporting needs.Manage survey requirements and lead the survey team for Aurelia's Cobar region, including operational and legislative aspects.Upholding compliance with mining regulations related to surveying.Conducting comprehensive field surveying tasks, both underground and on the surface.Implementing mine designs as needed for various operational requirements.Documenting spatial changes, including all lateral and vertical voids, ROM stocks and maintaining an up-to-date void model.Reporting to management regularly (End of Month and as needed).Survey provision for whole of region requirements, including infrastructure project layout, exploration activity, Governmental Reporting (MOP, AEMR etc).Maintaining precise survey control to ensure accuracy in all measurements.Creating emergency plans quarterly and producing annual mine statutory plans for regulatory submission.Performing additional tasks as requested by the supervisor, aiming for flexibility and reliability in service provision.About you Aligned with Aurelia Metals Values, showcasing commitment to our inclusive and respectful culture.Capable of obtaining a National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months) for site access.Holds a valid 'C' Class Driver's Licence, without restrictions.Possesses a relevant tertiary qualification in Surveying, such as a Bachelor of Spatial Science or equivalent.Minimum 5+ years of relevant underground survey experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in survey practices.Experience in Mine Planning software, utilisation of drones and Leica instruments or similar.NSW registered surveyor status, or the willingness to gain registration, or actively working towards registration, desirable.Exhibits strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.Why work for us?
