We are now seeking a Senior Mine Planning Engineer to join our Underground Mining team at our Sunrise Dam Gold Mine. Accountable to the Mine Planning Superintendent. This role is based at the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine on an 8/6 (or variant thereof) FIFO roster, we operate direct flights to our sites from Perth and Kalgoorlie.Accountabilities:Be an active safety leader in line with our values, policies and proceduresMentor and guide the team of production, planning and scheduling engineers to ensure that the required designs and mine schedules are delivered on time and to a high qualityMonitor and track operational execution against mine plans Identify, assess and manage risks to the execution of the mine planProvide effective communication of plans, schedules and identified risks to stakeholders across the operationIdentify and implement improvements across the underground operationThe opportunity to be a part of continuous improvement projectsAbout You People are at the heart of everything we do.
