ABOUT THE ROLE Our feedmill team is based on site to produce quality steam flaked grains for livestock rations.
This key role will be responsible for:
Contribute to the successful running of the steam flake mills to produce high quality flaked grain for our feedlot rations.Operation of package boiler including startup, shutdown and operational sampling requirementsGeneral repairs and maintenance to milling infrastructure (Greasing, hanger bearing, belt tracking and minor maintenance repairs)Ensuring that department hygiene and general cleanliness is held to a high standardOperation of Reverse Osmosis plant and water treatmentABOUT YOU Previous experience in a stockfeed/mill environment essentialYou demonstrate experience in feed production, milling position or feed batching (or similar) You're mechanically minded with the ability to problem solve on the fly Ideally, you have experience with modern feeding machinery, equipment, loaders, trucks and other heavy equipmentProactive approach and positive attitudeWHY WORK WITH US?
