Join our innovative team as a Senior Method Development Scientist Immunoassay, where you will lead the development and transfer of complex ligand binding assays.
This role is pivotal in providing high-level analytical and scientific support, whilst driving forward our Immunoassay Laboratory's capabilities.

Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline (minimum).
Alternatively, 8+ years of direct experience in the development of complex ligand binding assays in a bioanalytical setting.
Professional Experience : Minimum 4 years (with bachelors) of direct experience in analytical method development, particularly for ligand binding assays in a bioanalytical setting.
Experience in a regulated (GLP and GCP) bioanalytical laboratory setting.
Experience running regulated validation and sample analysis experiments (desirable).
Experience planning and executing validation and sample analysis batches in the role of study director (desirable).

Key Responsibilities Assay Development and Method Transfer : Lead the development and transfer of complex ligand binding assays, ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality standards.
Client and Stakeholder Communication : Serve as the primary technical contact for external clients, providing project updates and addressing scientific concerns professionally.
Technical Leadership and Troubleshooting : Drive technical investigations and provide expert solutions to resolve analytical challenges.
Documentation and Review : Author and review Analytical Laboratory Methods (ALMs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Workload and Project Management : Manage multiple projects and workloads efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and optimal productivity.
Mentorship and Training : Assist in mentoring junior staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented laboratory environment.
Scientific Input : Provide scientific insights into assay development, troubleshooting, and regulatory guidance incorporation.
Project Review : Participate in the review and analysis of new projects, offering expert recommendations and insights.
