The Role
The core role of the Metallurgy department is to provide technical support to the Copper Smelter to help them meet their business goals. As a member of the Production team, you will be responsible for helping to manage the plant performance, concentrate blending and logistics strategy, and improvement projects focused on metal recovery, operating costs, and environmental performance. This position is a permanent residential role, on a standard 5/2/4/3 roster configuration. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Providing technical support to the Copper Smelter. Managing plant performance and concentrate blending. Implementing logistics strategies and improvement projects. Focusing on metal recovery, operating costs, and environmental performance.
