You will create capability within the team by leading, developing and mentoring technical personnel.
This is a full-time permanent role offering a family-friendly 5/2:4/3 roster with an attractive remuneration package.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Providing technical support to the Lead Smelter operations and driving process improvements to deliver set production targets on a daily and weekly basis.Conducting inspections, failure predictions, and analysis on critical equipment.Supporting the Mine-Mill-Smelter value chain strategy.Providing leadership and guidance to promote a culture of safety and personal development of Metallurgists and Graduates.Optimizing plant efficiencies with a view to reduce operational costs.You will have the following skillset and attributes:5+ years' experience in Smelters/Mineral Processing plants or with strong base metals exposure.Sound process improvement capabilities.Demonstrated ability to work safely in a heavy industrial workplace and to lead a professional team by example.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels.For further information, please contact: Leanne Kretschmann on 0439 875 396Applications Close: 8:00am Wednesday, 22nd January 2025
