Your New Role:
As the Senior Merchandise Planner, you'll be playing a key role in shaping the future of the brand.
From financial planning to stock management, you'll be diving deep into the numbers to not only forecast and budget but also spot opportunities to drive growth.
You won't just analyze data - you'll be part of the conversation on how to increase sales and improve brand performance.
This is a role where your insights will matter, and you'll have the chance to contribute to the big decisions.
The Day To Day:Own the financial planning process, ensuring the sales, profit, and stock targets are aligned across the brands.
Leading the open-to-buy (OTB) process will be a big part of your day-to-day, making sure everything stays on track.Provide key insights on sales, gross profit, and inventory in a way that drives action.
Your reports will be the foundation for trade meetings where you'll collaborate on performance improvements.Manage planning across the brand, from local productions to premium international imports.Ensure stock levels remain optimal, carefully managing aged inventory while maintaining the integrity of the brand's premium positioning.
Your expertise in inventory control will help ensure stock is strategically placed to maximize full-price sales and maintain the luxury experience.Work closely with the senior leadership team, and even international partners to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Building strong relationships is key to this role.Lead and inspire a small but mighty team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
You'll be there to support and mentor as they grow alongside the business.Experience Checklist:Experience managing diverse product ranges in high-end/luxury apparel, with a focus on premium products and navigating both local and international markets.Expertise in financial planning, P&L management, and OTB processes speaks for itself.
You're not just good with numbers—you use them to influence strategy and business growth.Understand customer trends and behavior, and you use that knowledge to make smart inventory and financial decisions that keep customers coming back.Comfortable and experienced in leading a small team, coaching them to reach their potential, and collaborating with others across the business to get things done.Skilled in planning systems/tools and inventory management systems.What's Next?
