About the Program Parent Pathways is a transformative initiative designed to empower parents of children under six, especially those experiencing disadvantage.
Through tailored support, the program helps parents achieve their educational and employment goals, while addressing complex challenges with a strengths-based, person-centred approach.
About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Senior Mentor who can: Deliver high quality, person-centred case management to parents with complex needs, using a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach.
Coach and inspire participants to identify and achieve their education and employment goals.
Mentor other Mentors, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure consistent program delivery.
Promote the program to community stakeholders, employers and service providers to enhance opportunities for participants.
Oversee a caseload, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to program guidelines.
Conduct activities such as work preparation sessions or participant-led governance meetings.
About You To succeed in this role, you will bring: A Diploma level qualification in Community Services, Employment Services or a related field (or willingness to undertake).
Experience in case management, particularly supporting individuals with complex needs.
Strong interpersonal, coaching and problem solving skills.
Proficiency with case management systems and documentation.
Lived experience overcoming disadvantage (highly desirable).
The ability to inspire participants to achieve their goals and support team members effectively.
