About Us Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, providing a range of public health services to the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Region.
NBMLHD Community Mental Health offers specialised services for children, young people, families, and older people through community-based services and health centres. Our multidisciplinary health professionals take a collaborative approach to mental health care.
The Senior Mental Health Clinician will work within the multidisciplinary Safeguards Child & Adolescent Mental Health Response Team and report to the NBM Safeguards Clinical Lead. They will apply their clinical expertise to plan, co-ordinate and implement evidence-based, trauma-informed assessment and treatment to children and adolescents and their families.

What you will bring to the role: Tertiary qualifications and professional discipline registration/membership.Extensive post graduate clinical experience providing evidence-based assessment and treatment for children and/or adolescents.Ability to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement.Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified.
