We're looking for a passionate, experienced, and dedicated person to join our team!headspace Proserpine is now seeking a FULL-TIME Senior Mental Health Clinician to join their team. You will be responsible for promoting evidence-based clinical practice and supporting team members in the clinical decision-making process regarding the care provided to young people.As an integral part of the team, you will provide psychological interventions and clinical assessments to young people presenting with low-moderate mental health concerns. Working in collaboration with the Mackay Clinical Lead and Centre Manager, you will determine the appropriate clinical pathway for young people who access the service.Reporting to the Mackay Clinical Lead, the Senior Mental Health Clinician will contribute to the development of early intervention youth mental health services as well as participate in regular case review meetings to support appropriate care for all clients entering the service.We love our work - so will you!Successful candidates will receive an excellent salary from $93,000 per annum commensurate with skills and experience plus super.A fantastic range of ADDITIONAL benefits will also be provided, including:Salary sacrificing options up to $15,900;5 weeks annual leave plus 17.5% leave loading;Relocation assistance;Great work life balance; andBeing part of a fabulous culture.Skills and experienceThe right candidate will be currently registered with AHPRA or mental health accredited membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and have a passion for providing quality healthcare.In addition, you will need:Degree level qualifications in professional counselling or a social work or psychology discipline.Minimum 2 years' experience working as a qualified psychologist or social worker.Experience and solid knowledge of the National Standards for Mental Health Services and the ability to support new graduate practitioners towards independent mental health practice.Knowledge of and experience working within the Family Systems Theory and the delivery of systemically informed care to young people and their families.A current, unrestricted 'C' class Australian Driver's Licence; andThe right to live and work in Australia.headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation providing early intervention mental health services to 12–25-year old's, along with assistance in promoting young peoples' wellbeing.headspace is also proud to support and encourage you in your professional development!For further questions, please contact Amy Clifton on ******
