Job Description Full-time 12-month parental leave position, with the potential to extend
Co-located across headspace Dandenong & Narre Warren, with flexible working conditions
$48.60 – $58.43 p/Hour (subject to quals/experience) + Super + Salary Packaging benefits up to $18,550
Looking for a leadership role that will allow you to make a real difference in the lives of young people and their families? EACH is seeking a Senior Clinician who will work closely with the BounceBack team to provide clinical support and guidance to ensure the best outcomes for all involved.
As Senior Mental Health Clinician , you will:
Coordinate the intake, assessment and allocation functions of the Bounceback program
Provide secondary consultation for the team and act as a point of escalation for all clinical matters
Manage relationships with key referring agencies and stakeholders
A small caseload of individual clients will be involved, though you'll predominantly be working alongside the BounceBack Team Leader to ensure that the team is supported in their clinical care to individuals, families and carers.
About you
To succeed in this position, you will have:
4+ years' experience working with young people and families, specifically in the context of severe mental health issues
Undergraduate qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Nursing or Social Work with relevant registration in your field of practice, or a related discipline
Experience working with young people who face significant disengagement from social activities, education and employment
A demonstrated ability to manage complex competing demands for both young people and staff
Previous experience supervising a multi-disciplinary team as a Clinical Lead/Senior Clinician is highly desirable.
