Term full-time vacancy up to 12 months.
The Police Superannuation Office (PSO) is responsible for the administrative services, enabling the Police Superannuation Board to undertake and fulfill its management and administrative responsibilities, professional superannuation services, accounting functions, financial compliance, and reporting obligations, in accordance with the provisions of the Police Superannuation Act 1990 (the Act) and Commonwealth legislation.
The Senior Member Services Officer is accountable to the Manager for the provision of professional customer service and a wide range of accurate and timely financial and administrative superannuation services to clients and agencies.
The Senior Member Service Officer is responsible for delivering a solution-focused service with end-to-end accountability which placates compliance with superannuation legislation and governance requirements.
The incumbent is responsible for both face-to-face and over-the-phone member services involving complex superannuation calculations, insurance claims, and Family Law queries and calculations.
The Senior Member Service Officer will work autonomously across the Police Super office to support superannuation functions, including participating in the implementation and ongoing management of key projects and programs to achieve the Police Super Boards objectives.
Special Conditions
The incumbent must hold a current Australian work eligibility status and will be subject to a criminal history check.
The incumbent may be assigned to other duties at this remuneration level or equivalent.
Some out of hours work and intra/interstate travel may be required.
The incumbent is required to participate in SAPOL's iEngage program.
Salary ASO4 - $76,561 - $80,256 per annum.
