We are currently seeking a Senior Medical Practitioner to join the team at Peel Health Campus, Emergency Department as a Night Shift Team Leader. Vacancy at up to 1.0 FTE is available to be filled.
Hours are negotiable.Vacancy may be filled as sessional, fixed term or casual appointment with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.HSMP considered based on clinical and supervisory experience.About the Role: You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide speciality services to patients within the department.
You will promote patient quality and safety and provide leadership, training, supervision and education, where relevant, for doctors in training and other health workers in collaboration with other Consultants and the Head of Department/Director Medical Services.
You will also work within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the SMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee.
Peel Health Campus is a general hospital located in the City of Mandurah, 75 km south of Perth on the doorstep of the south-west, known for its stunning beaches, internationally significant wetlands, and some of Australia's most spectacular waterways for boating, fishing and wildlife.
