Unique locationsFriendly communitiesRegional, rural and remote $$$ incentivesWe are currently looking for a Senior Medical Officer - Remote Reliever to join a highly motivated team based at the Mount Isa Hospital in far North Queensland providing clinical care within the North West Hospital and Health Service.
The ideal candidate:
Your primary role will be as the sole doctor providing clinical care for the community. You will be seeing patients in three clinical settings: a primary care clinic, the Emergency Department, and as in-patients on the ward.Promote a safety-supportive culture and consistently apply evidence-based practices.Consider the rights of the patients and other healthcare providers.Participate in the "on call" roster for the care of remote facility patients.The lifestyle in Mount Isa is family-friendly; it is a vibrant city with an outback community feel.
Affectionately known as the 'oasis of the outback,' Mount Isa represents over 50 nationalities which give the city a unique cosmopolitan flavour.
The Traditional Owners of the area are the Kalkadoon people.

Pro rata remuneration package (based on f/t equivalent value) from $525,850 up to $650,288 p.a.
Base salary rates between $409,507 and $551,644 p.a.
