What's on offer? Fixed Term Temporary Part-time commencing ASAP up to 30/06/2025, hours negotiable (Multiple positions available).
Pro rata remuneration package based on full-time equivalent value of up to $33,112 p.m., comprising base salary range of $87.25 - $100.78 p.h. (L13-L18), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%), regional and rural attraction allowance, motor vehicle allowance, professional development assistance (allowances and leave). Level of appointment is dependent upon experience and advanced qualifications.
About the roleWork with the local HealthPathways programme team to localise and develop pathways and participate in work groups within the local team framework and processes.Gather and check information about local practice for clinical presentations, including assessing and managing patients, and requesting services on their behalf.Ensure pathways meet the information needs of their wider local health system including the key target audience of general practice teams.Skills and experienceExperience in applying current evidence-based health care in general practice.A strong understanding of the patients journey through the entire health system and with the key stakeholders.Ability to distil a simple and clear process from complex information and communicate it effectively.Commitment to continuous improvement of health systems and patient care.High level of communication skills in clinical practice and corporate functions.Ability to work independently or in a multidisciplinary team.Role requirementsQualified as a medical practitioner, qualifications in speciality areas and current registration and/or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
Highly desirable: Fellowship of either the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine or the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
