Are you an experienced media professional with a passion for promoting environmental and scientific endeavours and advancing Queensland's visitor and innovator economies?
The Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation (DETSI) is looking for a Senior Media Officer to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of driving media strategies that promote Queensland's environment, tourism, and scientific achievements.
About the Role As a Senior Media Officer, your expertise will shape how we communicate with the public, promoting our department's initiatives and protecting its reputation.
You will play a key role in providing media advice, creating compelling content, and liaising with stakeholders.
With responsibilities spanning media relations, crisis communication, and strategic advice, you will help shape the public's perception of Queensland's environmental policies and conservation efforts.
