This position sits within our Mackay Wayside team based at our Mackay depot. You'll join a team of four maintainers and four electricians who work together to maintain and repair the signalling equipment in and around the Mackay district.
About the role Lead the onsite installation, maintenance and repair of trackside systems equipment Ensure all work is performed in accordance with WH&S requirements and legislative policies Implement, co-ordinate and manage worksite safe working & environmental protection Ensure all work is performed in accordance with technical and operational specifications and standards Maintain all records and associated documentation relating to quality of works performed, inspection & test plans and costing systems Certificate 3 Mechanical Rail Signalling C Class Drivers Licence Experience managing worksites Work hours Generally you will work from 0715 to 1615 on a 9/5 roster (5 day weekend every fortnight) All travel is on paid work time.
