We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer with an oil and gas design engineering background to join our team.
We are currently delivering projects for a range of clients in the Green Energy space.
These projects include and are not limited to Hydrogen and Waste to Energy Projects.
Your Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance of design products with the Design Procedure for self and others.
Produce design products that comply with applicable legislation, standards, client, third party and project requirements.
Ensure technical compliance of design products.
Ensure design products are delivered in accordance with the project schedule and budget.
Ensure designs are fit for purpose and consider all aspects including, cost, constructability, operability and maintainability.
What You 'Can Do' Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (recognised by IEAust).
5+ years Mechanical and Piping design engineering experience in the oil and gas sector.
Knowledge and practical application of relevant industry codes of practice.
Ability to rapidly understand and assimilate project and client specific requirements.
Advanced knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles and practices.
Advanced level of expertise in technical detail of Mechanical Engineering.
Experience leading a team of engineering design professionals (If at Lead or Principal level).
Proven ability to work efficiently and effectively within a multi-discipline environment.
Proven ability to work autonomously or as a part of team.
Strong problem-solving and planning skills.
