Senior Engineer, Mechanical Melbourne, VIC Total Renumeration Package: $130k - $160k

MCR is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of cutting-edge data center projects. In this role, you'll oversee multiple projects simultaneously and manage an exciting pipeline of upcoming work.
Job Overview Leading Mechanical Design: You will take charge of mechanical design for both brownfield and greenfield data center projects. This involves creating and refining designs that align with clients' needs and project specifications.Client Engagement: Engaging directly with clients to thoroughly understand their requirements. You will present conceptual designs, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments to meet their expectations.Design Oversight: Overseeing the delivery of mechanical designs throughout the project lifecycle. You will ensure that all designs are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Project Management: Coordinating with discipline leads from electrical and fire protection teams. You will manage project timelines and ensure effective communication and collaboration across all disciplines. Requirements: Essential: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.Significant experience with centralised chilled water plants and chilled water systems.Proven consultancy experience in industries such as pharmaceutical process plants, semiconductor facilities, advanced manufacturing, life sciences, R&D environments, or airports.Nice to Have: Victorian Professional Engineer status, or on the pathway to achieving it.Experience with data center projects and familiarity with consultancy practices in this field.If you feel like you meet the above requirements and are interested in the role, please apply with an up-to-date CV for review. #J-18808-Ljbffr
