Our upcoming projects involve critical minerals such as vanadium, high-purity alumina, lithium, nickel, and cobalt. We are gearing up for the development of a greenfield high-purity mineral processing plant at Yarwun, Gladstone, as well as other significant projects in this industry.Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer or an experienced Mechanical Engineer ready to take the next step in their career to support local projects and our future design office. The primary focus will be supporting the delivery of a greenfield high-purity mineral processing plant at Yarwun. This role will involve mechanical and project engineering responsibilities, ensuring project delivery according to schedule, regulatory compliance, and technical standards.You will be involved in:Mechanical and project engineering for processing plant facilities, including fabrication, design, installation of equipment and compliance.Managing tasks and deliverables within the agreed schedule and project scope.Ensuring work is completed in compliance with technical standards and safety regulations.Supporting construction project activities, particularly focusing on Structural, Mechanical, and Piping works.Cultivating a safety-focused culture and work environment.What you can bring:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Experience in a similar role within greenfield or brownfield project environments or projects ranging from $1M to $500M.Experience in minerals processing, mining, or oil and gas industries.Proficiency in reading and using P&Ds, developing mechanical datasheets, Scope of Work documents, and piping.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to contribute innovatively in a team environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel, MS Project, and Adobe Suite.What to Expect: Opportunities for permanent full-time or minimum 6-month fixed-term positions, depending on project assignment.
