As a result of growth, my client is looking for enthusiastic Senior Mechanical Engineers to join their teams in Adelaide (HQ), Perth, Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne. My client is seeking candidates with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. You will have a range of technical and soft skills to perform the role, as listed below. Applicants with lesser experience are expected to possess some of the skills and show strong potential to build on the others. Australian recognised Mechanical Engineering degree that satisfies the entry requirements for Chartered membership with Engineers Australia. Passion for quality engineering and client outcomes Attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture Taking responsibility and ownership of tasks Soft Skills Strong Communicator Team Player/ Leader Time, Budget and Priority Management Technical Competencies Development of technical calculations from codes or first principals Problem solving skills Technical report writing Experience with software packages (stress analysis, FEA etc.) In depth knowledge of relevant codes and standards Specification of Mechanical equipment Detailed design and development of drawings Contributing to knowledge sharing, internal procedures and templates Project Delivery Experience (highly regarded) Cost Estimating and Proposal Development Safety in Design and Risk Workshops Package Engineering Operational Support Construction & commissioning Industry Experience Oil & Gas (upstream & downstream) and/or Pipelines and/or Mining, Minerals and Metals and/or Hydrogen and/or Defence Why them?
