As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be involved with and responsible for the design and delivery of key projects across various industries, including health, commercial office, education, sports and recreation, and defence, and will be able to demonstrate proven engineering leadership. Duties & ResponsibilitiesContribute to the provision of mechanical services within Canberra and supporting the ACOR Group on a national basis.Lead multi-disciplinary projects.Production of project documentation to an end client standard.Manage/support mechanical projects or sub-projects to achieve mechanical deliverables.Provide mentoring and training for junior team members and BIM designers on a project basis.Ensure that project milestones, deadlines, budget, and cash flow are appropriately managed.Contribute to standards, templates and similar documents used to communicate mechanical requirements, deliverables and the like.Skills & ExperienceExtensive experience in Mechanical Engineering within a building services engineering consultancy.Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent tertiary qualification.Member of Engineer's Australia and Chartered Professional Engineer (or on path to achieving).Experience leading delivery of medium to large scale projects.Experience in designing mechanical services in multiple sectors which may include Defence, Commercial Office, Education, Health, Sports and Recreation and the like.A strong working knowledge with a range of design software packages including CAMEL (Heat Load Estimation), MS Office, Bluebeam.Benefits of ACORAttractive remuneration package, commensurate with experience.Employee Assistance Program.Discounts on everyday products and services.Regular social and fundraising events.Ongoing learning & development.100% employee-owned company.If you are a motivated person who welcomes new challenges, this is a great opportunity to grow your career in Mechanical Services.
