Randstad is partnering with this State Government department to find a passionate and skilled Senior Engineer Mechanical to provide technical expertise and guidance.
In this role, you will support the Engineering teams for mechanical design, collaborating with business partners to adopt suitable new technologies.
Your attention to detail in design will be crucial in resolving issues for optimal outcomes.
As an experienced engineer, you will influence and contribute expertise across the corporation, working with other teams on-site to investigate and resolve problems and processes.
You will maintain high engineering proficiency, delivering exceptional advice and technical auditing services.
Your New Role Provide expert support in Mechanical design/technical engineering matters across the corporation.Offer technical guidance in Safety in Design (SiD) matters.Collaborate with the Principal Engineer to enhance the team's capabilities.Identify and evaluate new technologies, driving innovation and best practice improvements in Mechanical engineering standards and practices.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders ensuring effective communication with engineering teams, project managers, vendors, and contractors.Support the Engineering teams for mechanical investigation.Travel to sites to assess engineering situations frequently.Role
This role has the ability to influence the engineering team.
Working with the Principal Engineer to achieve the company objectives, as the Senior Engineer of the Team, you will need the following to be successful:
