We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Brisbane team, to provide mechanical solutions for building services.
The role reports to the Section Manager to ensure progress is maintained for timely project delivery.
As part of a senior, highly technical team you can expect to be exposed to various large-scale projects.

Who and what we're looking forIdeally you will have:
Established experience in consultancy (6-10 years)Competent and passionate engineer who enjoys managing stakeholdersGood level of appreciation and understanding of building services outside of your core expertiseStrong communication and presentation skillsBe competent with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)Have an understanding of relevant calculation packages such as Camel and preferably able to use Revit modelling softwareRPEQ and CPEng accredited.You offer: Experience and technical ability to manage resources, financial performance, and delivery of multi-discipline projects as a project coordinator, complete engineering analysis and design of HVAC systems as well as liaise with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.You will apply the latest technologies to our ever-expanding workload of building services.You will verify design work carried out in the business and provide mentoring, coaching, and training to less experienced engineers and project coordinators.Strong technical background that you want to continue to build on with experience across different market sectors including health, tertiary education, and the like.As a confident communicator who is articulate and confident in developing new and existing relationships, you will be working with like-minded individuals who are flexible in their approach to challenges, motivated, and share the ability to think laterally in delivering smart technical solutions to our clients.Training and DevelopmentNDY has a strong focus on the development of our staff and training will be a key element of this development whether on internal or external training courses.
We will develop a career plan for each staff member that will focus on core elements of your role to provide you with a clear progression in your career path.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of projects from Healthcare facilities through to commercial office developments and retail developments, both as new builds and refurbishments.
Additional InformationThis position is available only to permanent AU residents or applicants with the relevant Visa with the authority to work in AU.
