Our team is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Designer to join our growing Perth team. We have an exciting local and international projects portfolio that spans across (but not limited to) Nickel Cobalt and Uranium.
About the role Prepare 3D layouts (using Smart Plant 3D) and detail drawings.Deliver design drafting according to required project timeframes and standards by coordinating and supervising project members, reviewing deliverables and preparing design and detail drawings in line with requirements.Overcome design/schedule issues by maintaining an overview of activity, communicating with the Lead Mechanical Engineer and communicating issues in a timely manner.Maintain consistent design drafting standards across projects by communicating expectations and holding project members to account for standards.About you Prior experience in a similar role working on designs for Bulk Materials Handling or Plant layout (experience with crushing, grinding, materials handling, flotation, CIL/CIP, slurry, pumping, slurry agitation, particle size classification and separation would also be highly regarded).Advance diploma or equivalent in Engineering is desirable.Experience with Smart Plant 3D desirable.Why Ausenco?
