Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Wolverhampton Up to 55k Reporting into the Design Manager as part of the engineering design team, your responsibilities as the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will include: Producing designs for a wide range of automated special-purpose machineryProducing mechanical and material calculationsDiagnosing modifications and improvements to existing equipmentEnsuring design & manufacturing feasibility of solutionsPrevious experience in bespoke machinery designConfident knowledge of material handling systemsSound experience of design for manufactureBe confident in managing your own projects from beginning to endSupporting manufacturing and installation activitiesMentoring and support junior members of the teamBe able to communicate with colleagues & customers effectivelyExperience in SolidWorksExperience in AutoCADExperience of the coil processing industryExperience of machine assembly and installationPlease note for this vacancy candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK and VISA sponsorship will not be provided.
