Senior Maths Secondary Teacher

Teaching - Secondary (Education & Training)Full timePreshil is seeking a skilled, experienced, and enthusiastic teacher with the ability to teach Senior Mathematics in a progressive academic setting. This is a full-time ongoing position commencing in Term 1 2025. While some experience in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP) is preferred, teachers with Secondary School experience are encouraged to apply. Science as an additional method is desirable.The Secondary Maths Teacher will:A strong understanding of higher level mathematics, preferably up to year 12, and a strong background in mathematics.Background in teaching VCE Mathematics and/or International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program Mathematics is desirable.Demonstrated ability in teaching junior mathematics.Demonstrated ability in teaching junior science.Demonstrate outstanding discipline-based knowledge and experience in teaching.Carry out professional duties and have responsibility for assigned classes, co-curricular programs and individual students.Be responsible for the day-to-day learning and management of classes and the safety and welfare of the students during on-site and off-site activities.Promote the aims and objectives of the School and maintain its philosophy of education.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a Secondary Teacher?
