The role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual who is able to work autonomously and as part of a small team.Working in a multi-disciplinary team you will:Project manage and deliver significant community awareness and behaviour change campaigns from strategy and planning, market research, supplier engagement, briefing, development and delivery, through to evaluating outcomes and learnings.Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate communication strategies and plans.Lead stakeholder engagement and consultation.Ensure all marketing and communication activity aligns with departmental and government priorities and is underpinned by robust consumer-driven research.Manage mass marketing campaigns and strategies, ensuring whole-of-government guidelines, governance requirements, and approval processes are followed.Manage project budgets, prepare and review briefing material, submissions, papers and reports, and other duties as required.Contribute to continuous improvement of frameworks, systems and processes to ensure consumer insights and behaviour change communication principles are prioritised for marketing campaigns.Provide support to the Team Leader and other members of the team and work closely with other service provider areas within the department, such as online, digital and media teams, to ensure smooth delivery of all messaging.Applications to remain current for 12 monthsFurther informationWe are committed to building inclusive cultures in the Queensland public sector that respect and promote human rights and diversity.Please ensure you download all attachments and follow the instructions on how to apply.
