As the Senior Marketing Officer, you will lead the implementation of the TAFE Queensland North region's marketing activities, focusing on student recruitment, retention, relationship building, and enhancing the region's reputation. Your role will involve developing strategies that align with TAFE Queensland's objectives and ensuring the effective delivery of marketing campaigns across various channels.
This position reports to the Manager, Marketing and collaborates with both regional and state-wide teams.

The position will be based primarily at Cairns or Townsville campus however you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, drive student recruitment and retention, and achieve key marketing objectives. Use data-driven insights to adjust tactics in real-time, ensuring all marketing activities are integrated with the annual marketing plan. Produce high-quality, engaging content for various platforms, including publications, digital advertising, social media, website and other marketing collateral as required. Ensure content aligns with the brand's voice and tone to maximise engagement. Lead the coordination of graphic design and creative project, ensuring briefs are clear and aligned to brand standards. Collaborate with internal creative teams and external agencies to produce visually compelling marketing assets. Oversee marketing budget, ensuring financial discipline and adherence to procurement process. Regularly review and report on the ROI of marketing activities, optimising campaigns for cost-effeteness and impact. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on marketing initiatives that support regional and organisational objectives. Plan, execute and manage a diverse range of marketing campaigns across traditional and digital channels, ensuring timely delivery. Evaluate campaign performance using analytics tools to inform future strategies.. Ensure all marketing material complies with corporate identify and brand guidelines, Foster a 'one-voice' approach in marketing, promoting consistency in communications. How you will be assessed The ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:
Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies that align with organisational goals, enhance brand visibility, and drive business outcomes.; Proven ability to guide creative processes from concept to execution, fostering a collaborate creative environment to produce high-quality deliverables that adhere to brand standards. A strong record of working effectively with diverse stakeholders to delivery successful initiatives. Experience suing marketing analytics, market research, and insights to inform strategy, measure effectives and optimise campaigns. Displays flexibility and responsiveness in a dynamic and diverse environment, with an ability to navigate competing priorities with a proactive, outcomes focused approach. Highly Desirable Requirements Tertiary qualification in marketing, communication, or related discipline. Strong knowledge of marketing tools, including social media, CRM systems, and analytics platforms. Senior experience in a marketing or advertising role, ideally within education sector.
