What you'll be doing...On this role, you will be responsible for planning, building, executing, optimising and reporting on marketing activities in your segment of Australia Federal Government. You will work closely with Australia federal government sales teams and align your approaches and marketing mix to the current regional sales & marketing plans. Campaigns and activities will span top, middle, bottom of the funnel. Both new logo acquisition and customer focused defend & growth are key elements of your program.
Reporting to the Associate Director of APAC Marketing, this role develops executes and manages campaigns and activities in the federal government in Australia. This is a hybrid working level role and can be based in Sydney OR Canberra.
Be a collaborative team member of the small by dynamic APAC marketing team.
Build strong relationships with client partners and sales managers.
Communicate well with all stakeholders across the region and globally.
Plan and execute field marketing programs & campaigns through various channels to drive brand awareness and demand generation from federal government.
Be able to utilize 1:1 ABM approaches to defend and grow key government departments and agencies.
Leverage global content in campaigns and create specific federal government content from time-to-time.
Ensure that our brand and identity is adhered to in campaigns that are launched in-region.
Ensure legal compliance processes are followed, for privacy, copy, event nomination and optin/spam rules.
Manage relevant agencies and internal stakeholders with clear briefs and timely communication.
Manage campaigns to a budget and report quarterly on campaign contribution, effectiveness and ROI.
What we're looking for...You are an enthusiastic and experienced team player who can contribute to marketing efforts to achieve results. An innovative thinker, posing new ways to reach and influence our audiences.
You'll need to have:Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
Six or more years in a B2B Marketing function in a technology company.
Three years or more focused on marketing to federal government in Australia.
Experience using SFDC for lead management and reporting.
Willingness to travel outside of your state in Australia.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:Digital marketing experience.
Created presentations and presented to internal teams (up to the executive level).
Analyzed what's important from a variety of sources to provide a holistic view of the marketplace, competitive factors, risks, and opportunities.
Balanced multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Designed custom research approaches to gain broader or deeper consumer and market insights.
Translated market knowledge and strategy into compelling stories and tools for the sales team.
Active Australian Security clearance
