Position Overview: Our Market Alignment Manager is responsible for ensuring that our strategy aligns to sales execution, staying up to date on market intelligence, and building strong partnerships within the commercial team to ensure go-to-market plans are executed with a continuous improvement mindset.
This role supports the American Regions (USA, Canada and Latin America) and is based out of the Eastern Time Zone (EST).
Key Responsibilities: Aligning Strategy to SalesOversee local adaptation of the GBU's strategic initiatives and ensure best-in-class support plans.Coordinate and influence local adaptation of the GBU's Marketing Plan to local region's context and needs.Collaborate with GBU's platform leaders and marketing leads to establish an annual calendar and cadence of marketing activities.Continuously assess Go to Market plan adherence and direct the regional sales organizations towards required best practices.Provide ongoing support to the regional sales organizations and ensure efficiency and effectiveness.Assist in defining and executing local Clinical Education strategy in collaboration with GBU Marketing.Partner on key strategic global/regional initiatives.Market AnalysisMaintain market intelligence of trends and developments for regions and report findings to GBU.Partner with regional sales organizations to track competitor pricing and promotions.Assess local implications of key competitor investor reports.Perform ad-hoc analysis and strategic competitive business reviews specific to the regions.Internal CommunicationChampion local/regional communication plan/cadence and redesign processes to eliminate bottlenecks.Interact regularly with regional organizations to understand market focus and goals.Channel GBU communications toward regional sales organizations and find opportunities to consolidate and gain efficiencies.Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or other related field strongly preferred.
Experience: At least 8 years' experience supporting global product marketing, preferably within the med device industry.At least 5 years' experience in a liaison type position influencing change.At least 3 years' experience supporting market analysis including trends, new developments and understanding regional complexities and competitor landscape.At least 3 years' experience in a global role, interacting with various countries, cultures and time zones.Key Skills, Knowledge, and Capabilities: Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
Other languages a plus.Ability to build and foster internal partnerships in a global organization and influence through others.Ability to stay up to date on market trends, understand competitor space and report this information clearly.Advanced knowledge of MS Office, including but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Required travel, up to 15% domestic and international.Professional Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, speak, use hands, reach with hands and arms, see, listen, and type.
May need to lift up to 25 pounds.
Professional Work Environment: Work environment includes home and work office and travel to various locations using different forms of transportation.
The noise level is usually moderate with limited temperature fluctuations.
