About the Role Working at the Royal Australian Navy's (RAN) School of Navigation Warfare and Bridge Training Faculty delivering training to the Navy's Maritime Warfare Officers. As a Senior Maritime Warfare Instructor you will provide high-level training in navigation and tactical operations to the Royal Australian Navy's junior Maritime Warfare Officers. This role involves teaching using a combination of classroom education, simulation and occasional sea training periods ensuring junior Officers are prepared to contribute to operations effectively. Responsibilities include: Delivering specialist navigation and warfare trainingExtensive training using simulationSupporting courses through programming, briefings, and examination activitiesContributing to the course review and development processesMaintaining expertise in navigation and warfare tactics and systemsProviding training outside regular hours on a shift rosterAbout You You are a motivated, resilient and focussed professional who prides yourself on the ability to deliver training to the next generation of Navy Officers.
