Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Cummins Drivetrain and Braking Systems Australia is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team that manages the Operations at Sunshine Truck Axle Assembly Plant and the Derrimut Aftermarket Distribution Centre.
You will make an impact in the following ways: Plan, design, purchase, and implement changes to manufacturing equipment and systems while leading and collaborating with teams.Manage specific projects to develop and implement all aspects of manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with safety requirements, manufacturing goals, business objectives, and product specifications.Apply manufacturing principles and practices to enhance equipment and processes.Drive continuous improvement by utilizing relevant tools, adhering to Cummins standards, and developing manufacturing standards and working methods.Communicate effectively with and influence key external stakeholders, business leaders, and functional team members.Collaborate with internal and external resources on project assignments.Demonstrate advanced knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices as applied to Cummins.To be successful in this role you will need the following: University or a College degree in Engineering is required.5 plus years of experience in the field of industrial engineering and or process planning in the production environment preferable.Knowledge of lean manufacturing, process development, and project engineering will be preferred.Our culture believes in POWERING YOUR POTENTIAL.
