In the newly created and critical role of Senior Manager Training and Development, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our workforce by leading and managing our training and development function. 
Here's how you'll make a significant impact: Develop and implement: Lead the creation of a strategic training and development plan, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Drive innovation: Champion innovative approaches to training and development that position Queensland Rail as a leader in the rail industry. Subject matter expertise: Provide strategic advice and guidance on workforce competency and capability development across the organization. Governance and assurance: Lead the establishment and implementation of robust frameworks, policies, and reporting systems for training and development activities. Team leadership: Foster a high-performing and collaborative team environment focused on continuous improvement and customer service.
