The RoleAs part of a talented and collaborative team of taxation specialists, you will engage with a range of clients across varying industries solving interesting and complex tax issues to provide clear solutions and advice to our clients. This role offers a blend of client-focused compliance work, team oversight and technical advisory. In this role you will provide your internal and external stakeholders with exceptional client service by developing an in-depth understanding of each client's circumstances and ensuring the smooth running of the Taxation division.

As the Senior Manager you will be responsible for:Providing taxation consultancy advice, report writing and thought leadership articles.Letters of advice and transactions (buying and selling businesses, international transactions).Conducting research and recommendations on a broad range of taxation issues to address client needs.Managing a growing team of tax advisors including performance and career development.Setting and managing targets and budgets.Overseeing tax compliance engagements.Working with the management team to coordinate and delegate client work (including overseeing workflow).Completing final level reviews of compliance and advisory work.Identifying and acting on new business development and referral opportunities within the firm. Our ideal team member will have:Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or a related undergraduate degree.Professional certification such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA), or an equivalent qualification.A minimum of 4 years' experience in professional services, with a strong focus on business advisory and compliance.Exposure to larger client groups and complex business structures with multiple entities and technical intricacies.Exposure to a range of technical concepts including but not limited to: income tax, Australian and international tax, GST, employment taxes and state taxes.Actively or interested in completing a Master of Tax or equivalent qualification (desirable).Management experience with the ability to demonstrate strong leadership capabilities.
