The opportunity We are seeking a talented Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management to support BDA's Joint Systems Program. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track-record of building and leading empowered teams, resulting in achievement of key business objectives.
As the Senior Manager for Supply Chain, you will be responsible for delivering all aspects of Supply Chain support (including Inventory Management, Supplier Management and Procurement, and Warehousing and Logistics) to our customers, while ensuring strong functional alignment with key stakeholder priorities.
Responsibilities: Development and delivery of supply chain value stream strategies to build competitive advantage and deliver on customer commitments. This includes oversight of procurement activities, supplier performance management, inventory planning and control, warehousing management, and logistics; Impart functional expertise related to contracting negotiations, contract administration, and procurement to direct team and broader supply chain organization; Develop and use collaborative relationships within and outside the organization to accomplish organizational goals. Build rapport and trust amongst stakeholders and leverage the organization's dynamics to promote program goals by focusing on a shared vision; Foster a constructive culture, with a priority on developing and empowering teams, driving a safety and quality first mindset, and furthering a diverse and inclusive environment. Experience/Qualifications At least 10 years' experience in Supply Chain in highly complex business environment (preferably including experience in Defence and Aerospace), backed by a Business Degree or equivalent; At least 5 years' experience leading teams in a cross-functional environment A strong background demonstrating negotiation competencies and experience with a proven ability to partner with suppliers in order to develop long term relationships.
