Working as part of the Go to Market (GTM) team your role as Senior Manager, Strategic Marketing is to develop strategic plans for our portfolios and brands that drive commercial impact by taking compelling and distinctive propositions to market.
Lead and influence a cross-functional team to drive marketing, digital, and channel initiatives that deliver on the strategic objectives of our business.Work with Lines of Business Partners, Commercial Strategy and Insights & Analytics to deeply understand the product, customer and value pools within the market.Lead the development of plans that align with both brand and line of business objectives, focused on driving brand over time and sales & service overnight.Prioritise propositions and initiatives that shift perceptions of Westpac and drive commercial incrementality to deliver on business outcomes.Review, analyse and optimise campaign performance based on customer and data-driven insights from a range of sources.Help ensure Westpac is customer centric in everything we do by ensuring decisions are made with a deep understanding of the distinct segments we serve, delivering on customer needs and providing seamless experiences. What do I need? Business Bank (including Commercial banking) experience (FS at a minimum) requiredStrong business acumen including highly developed skills in commercial planning, campaign management & optimisation and reporting. Key capabilities include the ability to articulate campaign plans, impacts on business / customer / commercial outcomes and potential trade-offs.Expertise in Go to Market strategy and creative development to write and assess marketing briefs.In depth understanding of the customer segments and buying behaviour, brands and portfolios within the Group.Highly developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with an emphasis on being able to work in a highly collaborative environment supporting multiple lines of business.Resilience and ability to work proactively with a large degree of flexibility in a fast paced, ever-changing, multi stakeholder environment.
