Senior Manager | Risk Assurance and Advisory The Risk Assurance and Advisory team supports our global Commodity and Global Markets Group in managing their Financial and Regulatory Reporting Risk and Control Frameworks through governance and monitoring, risk advisory support, assurance reviews, attestation activities, and training.

You will play a pivotal role to drive continuous improvement initiatives within Commodities Global Markets Finance and lead the Finance Assurance (deep-dive testing) portfolio. While collaborating with key stakeholders in the Financial Management, Commodities and Global Markets and Risk Management Group, you will have the opportunity to drive the implementation of high-profile initiatives and gain exposure to senior leaders in Macquarie. You will provide valuable insights and recommendations to our stakeholders in relation to the ongoing compliance with our policies, standards and frameworks.

Strong understanding of activities within a Finance function in a Financial Institution Experience in Risk and Control Advisory and Governance roles, or internal audit, controls based external audit or similar assurance roles Strong verbal and written communication skills, and strong stakeholder management skills Demonstrates curiosity, the ability to challenge the status quo ,willingness to learn and high attention to detail Experience with memo and report writing to senior audiences Ability to think laterally, problem solve and grasp abstract concepts and complex situations
