Position Overview: You're an accomplished leader, driven to deliver exceptional outcomes. This role sits within the CBA Retail Banking Services (RBS) Strategy and Transformation function, which is accountable for defining the strategic roadmap for the Retail Bank and driving the retail bank transformation to deliver on improved customer outcomes.
Do work that matters: The Senior Manager will report directly to the RBS Strategy Lead (Executive Manager). The successful candidate will be leading and defining the RBS strategy and driving the retail bank transformation to deliver on improved customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities: Identifying key opportunities and making recommendations that will improve customer experience and optimise ways of working.
Developing strategies to improve customer outcomes through transforming the organisation's way of working and optimising resources.
Deep understanding and analysis of customer and business data to inform decisions and make recommendations.
Build constructive relationships with product and channel owners across the bank.
Develop strategy components and solutions to improve customer experience across the retail bank.
Leading projects that cut across multiple lines of business using innovative problem-solving techniques.
Support the retail bank in adopting new Agile work practices.
Guide multi-disciplinary teams to achieve transformation goals.
Propose solutions to improve outcomes based on internal data.
Track performance metrics against objectives for quarterly planning.
Run key transformation forums with senior leaders.
Produce formal papers including board packs and dashboards.
Manage operational risk within the team.
Minimum Requirements: At least 5 years' experience in corporate strategy, business development, management consulting, or similar.
Tertiary education in business, economics, science, engineering, law or similar fields.
Ability to take ownership of complex strategic cases with structured problem-solving capability.
Deep understanding of the Retail Banking industry is highly regarded.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams effectively.
