About the role We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team in the role of Senior Manager, Registry Services. Reporting to the Executive Director, Operations and Support Services as one of three Senior Managers in this role, you will be accountable for the efficient management and performance of functional divisions within registry services.
This role will contribute to the leadership of VCAT's Registry operations, executing statutory responsibilities under delegation from the Principal Registrar.
This role involves providing strategic insights and operational leadership to support continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation, and optimising resource allocation to improve efficiency, support early resolution, and enhance the timeliness of VCAT hearings.
You will work closely with Heads of Division/List to ensure alignment in operational processes and people leadership, fostering a high-performance culture among Registry staff and ensuring accountability for outcomes.
About you You will have a proven track record of leading and empowering teams in a user-centric environment, with a strong focus on fostering engagement, accountability, and professional growth to deliver exceptional service outcomes.You have demonstrated experience in driving operational reform and implementing change, with extensive experience in applying legislation in the development of practices and procedures in a complex legal environment.Your comprehensive understanding of government priorities and objectives will be highly regarded.You possess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, excellent stakeholder management abilities, and the capability to guide others through strategic planning processes.We understand that transferrable skills can be gained from a variety of professional experiences and encourage skilled leaders who may not have direct experience in a court or tribunal to apply.How to apply Click the 'Apply Now' button, ensuring you include the following in your application:
