Senior Manager Property and Assets (Clerk Grade 11/12)We are currently recruiting for a Senior Manager Property and Assets (Clerk Grade 11/12) for our client, a NSW Government agency based in Sydney CBD. This is a 3 year fixed term contract with a salary range of $139-$161k plus super for 35 hours per week. WFH is available for up to 2 days per week.
Reporting into the Director, Property, the Senior Manager Property and Assets will be responsible for leading and developing the leasing of property, asset management, and maintenance planning and operations effectively managed across the property portfolio. You will lead and provide oversight to a small team of 4 comprising a Manager Property (Clerk Grade 9/10) and 3 Senior Property Officers (Clerk Grade 7/8).
Key accountabilities Provide strategic leadership, management, and development to the team to foster a positive, collaborative, innovative, and service excellence culture, providing insight and input to strategic and commercial business planning.Lead and facilitate high-level stakeholder engagement, consultation, and negotiation on property and building management issues.Contribute actively to the success of the organisation, developing new ways of working and improving efficiency in systems, processes, and performance in asset utilisation and management.Provide expert knowledge and advice regarding properties of state and local significance including heritage, modern, and commercially leased premises.Overall responsibility for the development and effective management of budget and financial reporting for the portfolio.Candidate Requirements Proven leadership experience in a property or asset-related role at a similar level is essential.Previous experience of working for a NSW government agency is essential.Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent relevant experience in commercial property and facilities management, building/construction, engineering, architecture, or heritage buildings.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious NSW government agency so if you meet the above criteria, please submit your resume by clicking on the 'APPLY' button below or call Gary Ward on 02 9269 8*** for a confidential discussion.
