You will be a seasoned project controls professional where you will be tasked to manage and provide oversight of project controls and reporting systems, including financial, scheduling, quality assurance systems and document management systems.Some of your responsibilities may include:Lead the implementation and application of Sydney Metro endorsed standards and practices to plan, monitor, and control project scope, costs, schedule and risks for the project.Ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and comprehensive project-wide advice, and reports, while providing critical insights and capabilities to support the project management team in achieving key objectives.Prepare and develop project strategies and set the standards for consistent processes and procedures relating to estimating, cost, schedule, risk management and reporting against predefined scope deliverables for the project.Align project controls practices with organizational goals and ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards.Lead, mentor, and develop the project controls team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.Promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing to enhance team performance.Please click here to view the role description.About youYou're passionate about providing flexible transport solutions and improved outcomes for the community and have a keen eye for detail.You're naturally a leader, inquisitive, and enjoy diving into the detail, analysing data and asking the Why's.You will use your strong analytical mindset to gain a clear understanding of complex problems and provide solid insights to help achieve project outcomes.Minimum Requirements:Extensive experience in leadership project control and PMO roles.Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.This is a 6-month Temp Opportunity with 2 to 3 days per week in the office based in George Street (CBD) office.Who we areTransport for NSW provides a safe, integrated, and efficient transport system.
