About your team The purpose of the role is to provide product marketing and content to support our local business, marketing strategy and objectives. You will be able to make complex subjects simple and with a passion for writing, this person will also be responsible for producing and editing engaging content which is differentiated and best in class. About your role You have worked in funds management in Australia, and have a strong understanding of distribution channels and how they like to consume content. You will be passionate about marketing and will put the client at the centre of everything you do. You enjoy working in a team environment and enjoy the art of writing. You have strong technical knowledge of asset classes and products and have an ability to make complex topics simple. Product Marketing: Generate new and differentiated content including fund flyers, infographics, presentations and videos that align to our product and competitive positioning. Adopt and drive digital-first approach across our client communications. Develop strong relationships with local Marketing, Sales and Investment teams to ensure all content is aligned with Business needs. Write and edit written content for digital and traditional marketing/communications programs, such as online and e DM campaigns, websites, advertisements, sales flyers, digital banners, video scripts, market/asset class outlooks and fund updates. Review ongoing usability tests to gauge content effectiveness and optimise through presenting ideas for new content angles, formats, headlines and post types. Make recommendations based on data and analytics, working with content owners to revise and measure content and marketing goals. Content Marketing: Write and edit written content for digital and traditional marketing/communications programs, such as online and e DM campaigns, websites, sales flyers, banners, video scripts, market/asset class outlooks and fund updates. Deliver timely, topical content through to advisers, investors and institutions through our regular and ad-hoc EDMs, webcasts, videos, social media and sponsored content to deliver market-leading insights and thought leadership. Work closely with our content partners (Livewire, Firstlinks) to bring thought-leadership to market and drive product campaign propositions. Manage external agencies to produce digital-first, engaging content across different formats, such as video, interactive brochures, infographics, animations and illustrations. Monitor content KPIs to ensure engagement measures are delivered and continuously improved. Work with our regional teams to ensure consistency and efficiency of content being produced offshore, to identify opportunities for use in Australia. About you At least 7 years product marketing experience or investment writing experience within the financial services industry. Strong understanding and knowledge of asset management firms, investment markets, asset classes, product categories and distribution strategies preferred. An ability to turn complex technical product and investment concepts into concise marketing, sales and educational communications. Experience in the digital landscape in Australia and a clear understanding of digital content engagement and measurement principles.
