About the role:
As Senior Manager - Procurement and Property for Perpetual Wealth Management you will:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the overall procurement strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate high-value contracts, and manage supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability.
Procurement Process Optimization: Oversee and continuously improve procurement processes, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Cost Management: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities, manage procurement budgets, and ensure financial targets are met.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring business continuity.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure procurement activities support business objectives.
Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports on procurement activities, market trends, and performance metrics to senior management.
About you:
We're looking for someone with:
7+ Years managing indirect sourcing mainly for IT services and other procurement categories.
7+ Years managing vendor strategy and commercial management for IT vendors.
Solid background in IT & financial services organisation, in a commercial management role.
Property management experience.
Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Strong knowledge and understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical skills, ability to manage multiple projects, work in a dynamic environment and meet objectives.
Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
