About the Role As the Senior Manager, Pipelines & Gas Network, you will lead the safety, technical regulation and licensing for pipelines and gas networks in NSW. This is a dynamic leadership role where you will be responsible for driving strategic planning and operational excellence.

Duties will include: Leading a team of specialists to ensure the safety, integrity and reliability of critical infrastructure in order to meet NSW Government's responsibilities under the Pipelines Act 1967, Gas Supply Act 1996, and Corrosion Protection Regulation 2020.Oversee licensing, compliance, and enforcement and provide guidance and advice to the Minister of Energy and wider DCCEEW Executive team.Collaborate with policy makers to ensure that industry needs are considered in broader future fuels, energy security and emergency management initiatives.Building strong relationships with industry stakeholders and participating in government and industry committees to ensure consistency across the sector.Advocate for safety and technical excellence, with a strong focus on customer needs to ensure compliance and protection for consumers. About You The successful candidate will exhibit:
Strong background in the energy sector - within the pipeline or gas industries.Proven track record in developing and executing operational plans.Ability to navigate regulatory changes and technological advances.Strategic and results-driven leader. The Energy Operations Branch is a unique, forward-facing unit consisting of various energy services and programs to ensure the safety, reliability and availability of energy and utilities to NSW communities.
