We are looking for someone who is committed to contributing to our vision of better public services and our mission of independent and valued assurance and insights. You should have a strong understanding of public sector operations and a passion for better public services. As a strategic thinker with advanced client relationship skills, you will influence our clients to make real change. A strong understanding of Queensland Government frameworks and policies (preferably in areas such as project management, procurement, asset management) is desirable.
You will play a key role within the performance audit team and across QAO, with responsibilities including:
Leading and managing teams in the delivery of a diverse range of performance audits over the Queensland Public Sector.Building and maintaining effective stakeholder and client relationships at a senior level and delivering professional presentations.Providing expert advice to internal stakeholders, including Directors and Assistant Auditors-General.Contributing to a range of other deliverables and initiatives across the QAO, such as the forward work plan.Building capability and mentoring staff across the QAO to support a high-performing workforce and a strong culture.If you are looking for a role that is both challenging and rewarding, come join our team and help contribute to better public service delivery and outcomes!
