The team delivers initiatives, advice and services that support Senior Executives, Managers and team members during their careers with ASIC.
The role As the Senior Manager, People and Pay Services, you will provide strategic leadership to our People & Pay Services team.
You will ensure the seamless delivery of payroll, advisory, and remuneration services, meeting legislative standards and supporting ASIC's senior executives, managers, and employees.
In this role, you will drive strategies and initiatives that enhance the employee experience across the full employee life cycle.
Your key accountabilities include: * Leading the payroll and people advisory teams to ensure top-quality, integrated services across advisory, payroll, remuneration, and benefits * Providing high-level advice to senior leaders on contractual arrangements, remuneration, and conditions as outlined in executive contracts * Overseeing pay calculations and submissions, managing risk governance for payroll, and ensuring compliance with statutory guidelines * Guiding the implementation of people initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise agreements and P&D policies About you You are a seasoned People & Development leader with: * A bachelor's degree in HR or a related field (or extensive practical experience) * Proven experience leading client-focused teams in payroll, remuneration, or people advisory * A deep understanding of payroll and remuneration compliance, including superannuation and taxation * Experience developing remuneration strategies and proficiency with PeopleSoft or similar HRIS * Strong service orientation with a commitment to continuous improvement and quality standards * Excellent analytical, presentation, and report-writing skills About ASIC ASIC's remit is one of the broadest of regulators across the world.
