You'll be at the forefront of technology-driven risk consulting services including internal audit initiatives, with a focus on people, process and purpose to drive long-term value. Your expertise will be crucial in aiding clients to pinpoint and capitalize on opportunities to reduce risk and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of their processes, ultimately boosting business performance.In this role you will:Spearhead revenue expansion by identifying and converting new opportunities in internal audit, risk and controls management.Manage a diverse portfolio of client engagements and lead a team of risk and internal audit professionals.Foster the professional growth of the team with hands-on training and educational programs.Lead the creation and execution of internal audit plans that meet engagement objectives and adhere to professional standards for our co-source and out-source clients.Lead the creation and execution of risk engagements helping first and second line functions.Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships to ensure the fulfillment of service expectations and deliverables.Be a key member of the Financial Services Queensland Risk Consulting Leadership team.What we're looking for:Bring a wealth of experience with a minimum of 10 years in professional services or a blend of industry and professional services, delivering internal audits to stakeholders within the Financial Services environment.Exhibit inspirational leadership qualities, with a passion for nurturing talent, fostering high-performing teams, and delegating effectively while offering adequate support.Possess superior communication prowess and engagement abilities, complemented by exceptional report writing skills.Employ a pragmatic and solutions-focused approach to stay abreast of technical advancements and provide insightful impact assessments and advice.Showcase outstanding project management competencies, including the capacity to lead on-site fieldwork.Demonstrate sharp business insight with a commercially oriented mindset.Hold a Bachelor's or above degree in business, commerce, accounting, finance, mathematics, actuarial or a related field.Professional accreditations and qualifications will also be considered favourably but not essential (CPA, CISA, CA, CIA, CISM, CISSP, CBCP, CIPP).
