The team works closely with veterans and their families, providing advice and assistance in relation to claims and appeal matters in process with DVA. Your role provides guidance and oversight at an operational level, with the opportunity to review day-to-day workflow processes, build reporting capability, and identify areas for continuous improvement. This role will:Engage with Team Leaders to plan/develop/refine workflow processesOversee management of workload with a focus on seamless service deliveryInterpret and apply legislation relevant to the advocacy team service offeringManage internal and external stakeholder relationships including cross-functional teams, government agencies, community organisations, volunteer networks, and the wider military communityDevelop activity reporting capability, extracting and analysing service-based metricsProvide team leadership through coaching, developing, and mentoringGoal setting activities aligned to organisational outcomesThe ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified in Business, Management, or a related discipline.
