Your part in the UnitingCare team: We're currently seeking aSenior Manager, Operational Performancetoidentifyandsupportthe delivery of efficient clinical practices across the UnitingCare Hospital portfolio, developing and supporting change management plans for efficient and sustainable nursing models that reflect exceptional clinical and patient outcomes.
The UnitingCare Hospital portfolio includes the Wesley Hospital and St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital in Brisbane, Buderim Private Hospital in Buderim and St Stephen's Private Hospital in Hervey Bay.
We are searching for nursing leaders with a recent background in a private hospital setting as (DCS, ADON, CNM or NUM) with a backgroundsimilar to a Director of Clinical Services,Assistant Director of Nursing, and ideally with perioperative experience, you will be thekey influential driver in implementing hospital improvements supportingthe hospital General Managers,Directors of Clinical Services, Department Managers and Function leaders.Youwill also act as a Subject Matter Expertrepresenting our four hospitals to support the implementation of new digital systems and models of care.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, Hospitals and as a member of the UnitingCare Hospitals leadership team, you will: Identify and solution roster efficiencies across clinical and support servicesandreview and develop contemporary and efficient staffing models.SupportGeneral Managers,Directors of Clinical Services, DepartmentManagers and function leads to implementidentified changes and models of care.Identify opportunities to improve the performance or clinical outcomes of a hospital and lead projects to implement the required changes.In consultation with People and Culture, develop change management plans to deliver more efficient staffing models.Identify and solution broader operational efficiencies across the Hospitals, including but not limited to theatre utilisation.Develop and implement cadence frameworks and supporting tools to sustainably deliver operational efficiencies.Participate in the design, implementation,review and education of the UnitingCare Health Clinical Governance Framework and always respond promptly to any identified concerns.Lead strategic projects asrequired while undertaking any other duties as required by the Hospitals Executive.What makes a difference for us? Hold a Bachelor of Nursing qualification with current AHPRA registration.Extensive experience in Private Hospitals in senior nursing management and leadership roles, ideally with experience in perioperative services.Proven experienceidentifying and providingsolutions to roster efficiencies within clinical and support services.Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering projects,includingdeveloping and delivering departmental budgets and driving change.Ability to positively engage and influenceseniorstakeholders, including Directors of Clinical Services and hospital General Managers,and dealing with complex, confidential and sensitive informationExtensive knowledge of efficient and clinicallyappropriate nursing rosters.
